PHANTOM Glide is a permanent, high-performance base treatment for skis and snowboards that increases hydrophobicity and improves glide performance across a variety of snow conditions.
PHANTOM Glide differs from traditional wax because wax is not permanent. Wax is a temporary glide solution that functions only by coating the top layer of your base.
After just a few runs, traditional wax wears off and glide performance diminishes.

*Phantom should be applied professionally by an Authorized Phantom Installer using a Cure Station.
This process can take hours upon hours to dry when you do it at home but with our Cure Station it takes approximately 30 minutes with proper base cleaning and preparation of new equipment. Used equipment required additional time and will require a Level 2 Tune to ensure proper application.
This is the most precise and fastest method to apply PHANTOM to skis or snowboards, and is a reliable all-season solution during the low light winter months, especially in more extreme latitudes, and in wetter climates where sunshine isn’t as consistent.

Answer: We recommend tuning your gear before applying Phantom Glide. A proper base grind will not only remove smaller scratches but also eliminate any wax or residual materials on the base that could interfere with the Phantom Glide cure. This ensures optimal bonding and performance.
Answer: Yes, you can still apply traditional wax over the top of the Phantom Glide treatment if you need a temperature-specific wax for competitive activity.

Yes, we can service the skis you bought online. If you need us to install or adjust the ski bindings please make sure to bring both of your ski boots as well.

In general we try to service ski & snowboard equipment overnight if needed. If you arrive after 4pm we will do our best to have your equipment ready by mid-morning the next day.
Answer: Yes, walk-ins are welcome. Bring your skis or snowboard in for a check up and our mechanics are often able to service your equipment while-you-wait or overnight.
More extensive services may require you to leave your skis or snowboard for longer, especially if you have severe base damage.
