DELIVERY TIMES

  • Pick up and drop off are available between 7am - 9pm, 7 days a week with online reservation booked 48-hours in advance.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

  • Rental Delivery Reservations booked less than 48-hours in advance can not be guaranteed so it is best to call us at 802-422-9050 to check availability.

CREDIT CARD REQUIRED

  • We have a 2-day minimum rental period for all rental deliveries.
  • Your credit card information is used to hold the reservation, payment is made within 24-hours of the rental delivery.

BEFORE YOUR DELIVERY

  • A reservation specialist will contact you or your group leader within 24 hours of your delivery to confirm your reservation, delivery location, and room or unit # if available.

Common Rental Delivery Questions

Is there a minimum rental period? 

Answer: 2-Day minimum rental period, for 1-day rentals we suggest you stop by our store.

What if there is a problem with the equipment during my rental? 

Answer: We're conveniently located 1 mile east of the Killington Skyeship Gondola. Simply give us a call at 802-422-9050, let us know what's not quite right, stop by and we'll get you back out on the mountain in no time.

Boots feel a bit off? No problem, we have a variety of other options in-store.

Is your equipment too long or too short? We've got plenty of other skis and snowboards in-store.

Can you deliver my rentals the night before?

Answer: Yes, you can deliver your rentals anytime after 2pm the day before you go skiing or riding at no additional charge.

What time are my ski rentals due back?

We ask for you to return your ski rentals by 6pm. The last chair is at 4pm.

Can I apply my rental fees towards the purchase of new skis?

Answer: Yes, you may apply up to 2 days of rentals fees towards the purchase of a new pair of skis.

Do you bring extra boot sizes?

Answer: Of course, while we hope you can provide us with an accurate size in your reservation we always pack extra boots in case you need to size up or down.

Can I use my own ski boots?

Answer: Yes, you may use your own ski boots provided they pass a visual inspection by our ski mechanics. Please make sure to bring BOTH boots for us to set up your ski rental.

What does your Damage Waiver cover?

Short Answer: Our damage waiver covers incidental damage to the ski equipment, it does not cover abuse, theft or loss.

Long Answer: We spend a lot of money, time, and effort to maintain our rental equipment every year. If we feel that the equipment was abused we retain the right to charge for repair or replacement costs.

Do you rent snow blades or ski boards?

We do have a limited amount of shorter skis for adults in the 120-130cm lengths with ski bindings available for rental.

Do you rent ski boots only?

Yes, we do, however for us to adjust and properly test your ski bindings it can be faster and less expensive to just rent the entire ski rental package.

What's the average turn-around time for rental delivery?

In general we try to outfit rental guests as quickly as possible, having equipment pre-set upon arrival. However, if you should need to exchange for a different size boot or ski additional time will be required to make the adjustment on-site.

Most rental delivery guests are fitted within a 5-10 minutes per group member.

Payment can be made prior to the arrival to save time if you want everything to go as quickly as possible!

Are walk-ins welcome? Or do I need to schedule my rental fitting?

Answer: Yes, walk-ins are welcome but if you know the dates of your travel we encourage you to reserve in advance to A) save time and B) save money.

When do I pay for my rental?

Answer: Payment is due when we drop off your rental equipment.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover.

What brands do you use for your rental skis?

Answer: We offer three different ski rental packages and carry a variety of models from top ski brands like:

What is your cancellation policy?

Answer: First Stop Board Barn has a simple 24-hour cancellation policy! You may cancel any time before your scheduled delivery.

The only reason we believe you will cancel is if there is an emergency or you are having travel issues. Cancellations made within 24-hours will owe a 50% cancellation fee.

Can I buy other accessories for my delivery?

Answer: Of course you can! A Gear Expert will call you within 24-hours of your reservation to confirm your booking and also ask if you might need any other items for your group. These items can be paid for at the time of delivery.

Can I rent snow pants and/or a jacket with my rental?

Answer: We have a limited selection of ski/snowboard specific pants and jackets available for rental as well, please make sure to make a note of the sizes you'll need in your online reservation.

Are there any discounts available for Rental Delivery?

Answer: You can save 10% by choosing to Return your Rental Equipment In-Store when placing your Reservation.
